Only one remaining! These mini paintings, all sized 3” to 4” across, are part of my Oyster Series. When I found these juniper tree slices, I immediately thought of Gulf oysters and decided to make mini paintings out of them.

Perfect for placing on a tabletop/shelf, hanging in clusters or arranging in a gallery wall. Please note there is an add-on option to purchase an acrylic and brass stand for tabletop/shelf display for $15 (see last image.)

Each painting is uniquely shaped and painted. Sides are painted gold, backed with sawtooth hanger and varnished to protect the mini painting. Please contact me for available images.

What started out as an experiment of iridescent paints on light and dark backgrounds has evolved into a repeated study of the Gulf oyster shell in my Oyster Series - from mini paintings on juniper tree slices to larger-scale layered paintings on wood panels. The Oyster Series features layers of metallic gold, pearlescent and iridescent alcohol ink and acrylic on a neutral palette of white, pearl and gray. I absolutely love the depth and interest of each piece and find these are perfect for any decor.
