The Assistance League of Houston announces the 60 artists accepted for the 38th annual philanthropy event, Celebration of Texas Art 2017. With entries open to all artists residing in Texas, 279 artists submitted a total of 715 pieces, and there are currently 22 artists on the waiting list.

The Assistance League of Houston is a volunteer group committed to serving the educational and emotional needs of children and young adults, as well as families in crisis in the greater Houston area. Celebration of Texas Art 2017 is a juried art show that evolved from a simple art exhibition over 35 years ago to showcase the work of today’s artists from all across Texas.
