The artists of Winter Street Studios present: Creative Fusion, an exhibition celebrating the power of shared creativity. Artists were invited to partner with others—whether within their studio building or beyond, to create collaborative works that reflect collective expression and connection of ideas. The exhibition includes joint paintings or drawings, mixed-media pieces, sculptures, installations, sound, video, or conceptual works, or more.

The exhibition is on view upstairs at Winter Street Studios from May 10 - August 9 and is open to the public from 9am - 5pm Monday through Saturday.

My studio mate Claire Loft and I painted “Growing Together,” a 24x24” original collaborative painting for this show. About the painting:

Allyson painted the garden-inspired background layers in her abstract style using greens, blues, white and touches of pink. Claire then painted a blooming pink rose in the forefront, inspired by a recent art retreat to southern Spain. “Growing Together” refers to both the garden inspiration and the friendship Allyson and Claire have developed during the time they’ve shared their A210 studio space since November 2023.
